Carver's Union Church Restored with CPA Funds

As reported on December 24th in Wicked Local Carver by Bobbi Sistrunk, the restoration of Carver's Union Church was completed in time for the annual holiday candlelight service.  The article, Candlelight ceremony highlights the historic beauty of Carver's Union Church, reports that the church's facade was restored using Carver's Community Preservation Act funds.  For more information on the use of Community Preservation Act funds for projects on privately-owned property, see my article Can CPA Fund Private Projects (January 2008 edition of the Community Preservation Coalition's CPA Update).
