There are three events coming up in the next 4-8 weeks that will provide opportunities to learn more about affordable housing.
- Friday, May 8 (Lowell) - Chapter 40B: A Look at the Market & Innovative Design. This conference is geared to help communities understand how to work with the comprehensive permit process and includes a session on the Massachusetts Housing Market.
- Thursday, May 14 (Worcester) - Creating Affordable Housing Through Reuse & Revitalization. This is a regional workshop about adaptive reuse and revitilization of existing buildings to increase affordable housing, while also breathing new life into underutilized, often historic, buildings.
- Tuesday, June 9 & Wednesday, June 10 (Devens) - the third annual Massachusetts Housing Institute for local officials. This two-day training is designed for local officials, planners, housing committees, community preservation committees, and others. It will offer a variety of sessions and also a one-day option.
